In the human-centered design process, both a user survey in a “Current Situation Survey Phase” (to assess their usage and subconscious needs) and a usability test in a “Design Evaluation Phase” are essential. But in order to conduct these tests and surveys, specialized facilities, equipment, and staff with technical knowledge are needed, so it's not exactly easy to conduct such tests.
In this service, we provide a specialized studio and equipment with the physical support of specialists. Those of you who have always wanted to perform a user survey or usability test but couldn't due to the lack of the above support, now are able to.

Service Details
1.Use of the User Test Studio
The User Test Studio is available in 1 hour units for usability tests and user surveys. You can conduct your usability test and user survey using the interview room were the user acts as the test subject and the monitor room where you can see the actual test being conducted through a one way window and video monitor.
2.Provision of equipment necessary in the test and survey
When using the User Test Studio, the necessary equipment for the usability test and user survey is also provided. We provide all the basic equipment, including an eye tracking tool that can record the movements of the user's eye as they view the screen, a video camera to record the test, DVD recorder, and microphone, etc.
3.Specialists to support the test and survey
When conducting usability test or user survey, human-centered design and usability specialists provide support with the operation of the equipment and the interviews. This service is suitable to the customers who have thought: “We would like to do a usability test on our website but we are not sure how to conduct one.”
4.Support with survey design and/or a survey report (optional)
We also provide support in response to requests regarding the survey's content design, analysis and reports on the survey's results. We provide consultation with specialists about design appropriate survey tasks, standards for recruiting survey respondents, and analysis methods after the survey's completion.
5.Recruitment of Survey Respondent (optional)
The most important issue in both user surveys and usability tests is to recruit survey respondents with attributes as close as possible to the target user. If requested, we also provide support recruiting survey respondents before the test, refining the survey respondent segment and respondent recruitment questionnaires.
